Dig it! NGD!

I got back from a morning meeting to find the Tele had been delivered. So far, I am very happy with it; I still have to plug it in and give it a run, but this is really cool. I must say it is pretty heavy to this guy who plays acoustic guitars and Danelectros.

That is a fine looking tele. I like the white/maple combo. It is weird that that is a rare color in teles as it is hot. Congrats on the new guitar.

That's an MIM standard, right? Interestingly, I got mine in 2009, and have gone through a LOT of guitars during that time, but my tele abides. Of course, over the years, it has gained new pickups, upgraded electronics (Emerson 4-way kit), and is still a work in progress. It just keeps getting better and better. The best part is, once I set it up for .10s, I have NEVER in almost ten years had to tweak the truss rod, adjust intonation, or otherwise mess with the action. It's just perfect!

Yep, MIM standard. The only thing I'll ever change on it is the strings.
Nice. Looks just like my dad's tele, except his white has aged a bit.
Someday mine will, too. :thu:

Very nice, Gary. I dig the strap.

Also, don’t let these traditionalists get to you, they hear with their eyes. You don’t need a 3 saddle bridge to get a true tele sound. The MIM modern bridge is perfectly cromulent and has better intonation.

Yeah, 3 saddle is for squares. 2 saddle is where its at

(I'm actually a fan of 2, 3 or 6. I see no 'need' to change any of them.)

It's going to be challenging to do sick ass pinch harmonic dive bombs on that, but otherwise, it's gorgeous
