MWGL Photography thread II ( Continued)

Not been anywhere interesting recently, so I've pissed about with the processing a bit more than usual in what I did take

went to the west side of loch lomond for lunch one day at the boathouse at cameron house, so took a couple of pictures there.

I was on Arran for a few days. If you don't like large stones look away now :)

Lots of neolithic standing stones this one is known as a druid stone

these on machrie moor were great, I couldn't capture how picturesque the area is, ringed by hills and mountains . Probably my favourite neolithic site I've visited, not been to skara bray yet though. It was also really warm, I was walking in my tshirt

Lamlash, a village on the coast. Lots of swans around the island, for some reason they were all on the sea

Test. A wide iPhone shot of a lake and a castle in the Alps. I’ll post the real pics when I can get them off the camera.

Didn't know you got stuff like that on Arran.

Not had the camera out. Just been messing with my drone, got it up to a height I won't disclose on Xmas night at my parents. Not enough light to do anything useful with but was quite cool to see the lights over the city and the towers the next scheme over from a height.

went for a wee walk up Dumyat, a small hill near Stirling in a vain attempt to be less of a fat bastard

got a decent view over Stirling and the Wallace Monument

"post-apocalyptic hellscape", best description of Wisconsin in December I've heard.

Don't know where you were but I'm guessing somewhere south of me. Maybe near the river.

heh, this is a weirdly mild December though

you're around Baraboo or the Dells, IIRC? This is a little ways west of Madison, sort of between Verona and Mt Horeb, if you know that area (south of the wisconsin river, but near a tiny tinnyyy river called the sugar river FWIW)
