I can see why some would object to Mark spamming his site in such a way, but I think it's a really low thing to go and whine to moderators about it. No class, no balls.Before everyone gets too David Icke with the conspiracy theories from what I've been able to determine this wasn't an HC admin decision. I've been trying to get to the bottom of this in the HC Office but as you might imagine admin are a bit busy at the moment. What administrators I have spoken to however know nothing about any of this and are all "huh? what?". The person who PMed Mark seems to have made the decision themselves, I'm guessing as a result of complaints from other forumites. It's not some official diktat from Musician's Friend.

No, to those like me that have seen what went on in the past week, I have no doubt it was that little fucking jellous hack, Docjeffrey that complained. He is an insecure jellous attention starved major fucking TROLL that loves to stir the shit up.
He is contantly posting clips of his ultra high end this or his extremely rare or well sought after that, some very nice and expensive shit, and then he will murder a few chords and songs with it, and procede to lecture the rest of the forum, some of them world class musicians who he shouldnt even be named in the same sentence with, that they suck and they will always suck, because their gear sounds like shit because everyone knows it is impossible to sound like anything other than crap without having gear that basically costs a fortune. Sad thing is, is he is the best person I have heard at taking all that ultra nice gear and making it sound like shit. Dude should worry more about playing than lecturing others on why their shit gear will never sound like his godlike gear, because some of those very people he bashes can make a 2X4 with rubberbands for strings sound better than he can with the very best gear in his arsenal. He is too musically clueless to ever get that though. He is WAY more concerned with getting attention from his gear and posts of said gear, and when that doesnt work, belittleing everyone else that doesnt agree with whatever he is preaching(or trolling) about at that moment. last week his topic was why everyone was completely stupid and that he was so much more intelligent than everyone because HE could see the greatness of HC2.0 and all the other clueless idiots were just too stupid to "get it".
He was basically trolling EVERYONE that had any complaint about 2.0 whatsoever and trying to argue that 2.0 was the greatest thing to ever happen to the internet, and when anyone didnt agree with him, he would proceed to tell them how stupid they were and how intelligent he is. When I put a link in my sig for people to come check out your site, he made a thread basically bashing you and making fun of your site. Some people have always known he was an asshole before recently, but he has had basically an all out throw in the kitchen sink attention whoring trollfest of a meltdown in the last couple weeks and now just about everyone knows what a major asshole he is.
Anyway, In three years and over 14,000 posts over there and hours a day, he is one of only maybe 2 or three people I have ever had a problem with over there, and what he did to you is just one of an endless list of similar things that he will always continue to do as long as he has an audience.
He is the MAJOR acception over there though. Almost everyone is really cool over there. Few asshats here or there, but he doesnt represent or speak for pretty much 99.9% of the people there.

Speaking of food that will KILL you, I had one of those KFC fried death in a bag deals today. Why? Im an idiot, thats why.
I dont know why I ordered it, maybe just morbid fascination, but I was litearly laughing out loud at myself for buying it as I bit into it. It was the single most obnoxious piece of food I have ever seen. I figured something THAT bad for you, and something that looked that obviously invented for no tother reason than to kill you dead, it HAD to taste good, right?
It was pretty bad. I will not be eating another one of those EVER. I pretty much love any single ingrediant on that thing by itself, but really strangely and suprisingly, all that stuff together didnt work.

I brought this up when another supposed "spammer" was shut down in EG a few months back. The mods in EG let Pro Guitar Shops post their little 2 minute pedal reviews where very clearly at the beginning and end of the video there is an advertisement to buy gear from pro guitar shops which would directly take sales from GC/MF. When I brought this up (i never reported it or anything) I was told it was no big deal.
This is splitting hairs as far as I can tell. I am not saying that I don't like the pro guitar shop videos, I actually love them, but it seems like certain mods are picking and choosing who to let spam EG based on personal bias and that is not cool. What applies to one should apply to all. If a rule isn't universally enforced then it should apply to nobody.

I never had a problem with Docjeffrey - I guess if I would have looked into his posts a bit more I would have seen that he was/is a dick but I never did. I clicked on HC today to see how things were going and I saw his thread about giving a 'shout out' to the mods and all of this BS and calling everyone who left pussies and on and on & really harpooning anyone who started up a website. That thread and his whinings within spelled it out clearly for me.
Furthermore, if he was standing in front of me and saying the things that he says so freely online then he wouldn't be standing and his little church group could resurrect him or prop him up so he could play in his worship band...with GREAT tone of course.
His big accusations of others not thinking for themselves & him being a free thinker is out-of-whack to me...the one who doesn't think for them self is following right along and 'hanging in there' while 2.0 tries to get better. My revelation (Doc is just a dic) seems like it is common knowledge to most.
Anyway, I thought I'd say my piece on it all.
