You probably wouldn't like the results, but I'd add some bass and/or vox.

Yeah that would be sweet! Based on your past stuff, I'm sure it'll be awesome. :cool:

I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to my Dad's house again (and using his recording equipment) but I'll keep you updated. It's possible I'll have to use it for the next 'fest instead...

Also, I can use a drum machine if needed. I wouldn't mind, as I have an idea for the drums anyways. :)

Can someone please hook me up with some drums (really simple 75 BPM) I'll send you a link to what I have so far. I'm just gonna re-record everything so it doesn't even have to be "ON". Just "LIVE". A bit of ad-lib would be appreciated too.

I have one done except for the mastering. Monday, we are recording the drums, bass, and vocals for the original.:thu:

I might be able to oblige you now that I have the studio running. Just need to find the time...
 
I have from Dec. 18 to Jan. 4th off... I might get a Blues one done and maybe an original.

Now that I have the ability to track live drums I might have my band do a Jazz recording. I might see if they'll play on one ofmy originals, too :grin:
 
I need to pick a song and write a song, I guess. :embarrassed:

I did pretty much finish up a song last night, but it's definitely not bluesy or jazzy, and I didn't write it.
 
You won't be surprised to hear that I/we won't be contributing to the blues/jazz fest. :embarrassed:


Originals are in the works though :cool:

Once we get things rolling I'm adding Logic for Josh Friedman to teach with...I am loving ProTools in the bigger setting though. It REALLY makes me hate Cubase now.

I think I tried one of the LE versions of Cubase that came bundled on a CD once. Went back to Sonar ASAP.
