I think I've just heard the best strat replacement pickup ever this morning.

STill thinking about these pickups. Not sure how to actually send a message on the "new" MySpace. :embarrassed:

Click on the little interlocking rings on the upper right hand side of the screen. One of the options is 'send message'.

I did that but all I get is this:

They do but I think the '69 ones are the pickups for me. I just don't see them anywhere. My other thing is that they seem to be only available in sets of 3 and I don't need a bridge pickup.

MySpace has gone completely stupid. I checked on it the other day for laughs. Laughed harder than expected. LOL

It all depends on application I guess. I have my Suhr which appeals to my vintage aesthetic while still sounding kind of modern, my Tokai and green strat both have the vintage thing down pretty good. I'd like to get the Hendrixy "big strat" sound from the neck and middle of my McFeely though.

Well the guy that makes them sells them on Ebay, and they are $325 a set with $25 shipping.

I know I'm a bit of a Curtis Novak shill but I don't think his strat pickups sound that far off.

Also on his myspace page when I mouse over the two connected rings I have the option to send him a message. Weird, maybe the browser you are using?
