I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

4th quarter has pretty much turned this into an unplayable game due to the snow.

Can't really throw or kick a field goal. Run game is pretty predictable.

Patriots up by 3. But I think they have the wind right in their faces. I don't think they can even punt further than like 30 yards.

Drake Maye is going to have to play better than he did today if the Patriots are going to defeat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. I expect Sam Darnold will lead the Seahawks to victory in the Super Bowl, finally, silencing all the critics who’ve said he can’t win the big game.
 
Maye's not going to be playing in a raging blizzard in the SB. He did what needed to be done, when it had to get done today.

But the start of the game was indicative of an issue the Pats have had this year. Possessions and/or quarters where they play flat and uninspired football. Can't do that in their next game.
 
The Denver game was crazy. They were warming up in sunshine and finishing the 4th quarter in a blizzard.

Yeah, I agree NE is going to have to play way better than they have the last two games. Seattle has a good defense and can put points on the board, Fortunately for NE, they won't be playing in the snow in the Superbowl. Should be a fun game, especially since I have no horse in that race and can just watch and enjoy, and not really care too much who wins. It'll all come down to my squares in the Superbowl pool.

Never liked the 49rs. Turns out the 49rs Right guard on the offensive line was my older sons team mate from when they were 7 and 8 years old. My son was the center and Dominic Puni 77 was the left gaurd. Undefeated league champions both years. :)

His dad coached the offensive line. Dom was a really quiet kid. He went to a div 2 school on a scholorship then transferred to KU. He was drafted in the second round and due to injury and such he was a first year starter. Not bad for just wanting a scholorship
