I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

Never forget Mike Tomlin's finest moment. Not even Ben Johnson has this much hate for a divisional rival.

Apparently, one year of coaching A-aron was all it took to get Tomlin to call it quits!

49ers can't catch a break - or rather that's pretty much all they've been catching this season; breaks, strains, tears, etc. I've really been amazed at the way they've managed to cobble together a great season.

@Peen Simmons - the playoff game merely mirrored the Packers season. Going into the playoffs on a four-game losing streak is a curious strategy, but that's why LaFleur is so popular with the players: he only makes them work half a game each week!

You will hit it hard next year.
You're out there in Cream City right?

The Rams dropped off some ralley towels at my kids school. The Rams vs. The Bears at Soldier Field should be a good one. Those last couple of Bears comeback games have been extremely exciting. I'm still rooting for LA. It's a win win for me though, as I was born in Chicago.

And Buffalo chokes again.
I would not characterize their game play as a choke. The Bills played a top ranked defense, yet managed to move the ball well against the Broncos. They made some mistakes, which can happen against a good team. The Broncos capitalized on the mistakes and lead by 10 points at the half.

The Bills adjusted their game in the second half and dominated. They managed to tie the game, sending it into OT.

Ultimately, the Bills lost in overtime, but they played a close game. They played a hard fought, physical game, yet came up short. Perhaps, if they did not have so many players out with injuries, they could have won.

The 49ers choked. Of course, they’ve been plagued with injuries. But, it wasn’t even competitive. The Seahawks dominated them the entire game.

Bo Nix mojo. What a bummer. Tragic.
When Sean Payton came out to announce Bo Nix’s season ending injury, he said something interesting. Bo told Sean that he had ankle fractures twice in the past, once in high school, and once at Auburn, 2021. Payton said he would not have drafted Nix if he had known.

I’m guessing coach Payton must be familiar that players prone to ankle fractures will continue to suffer repeated fractures. Of course, Nix has proven himself competent enough as a QB that he’s worth keeping around, even with his glass ankles. Maybe, Bo can make it another 4 to 5 years before fracturing them again. That’s enough time to win a championship and a Super Bowl.

OK I know the weather is bad, but it ain't THAT bad. Texans and Pats, a comedy of errors, how can these SHITTY teams get into the playoffs? Is this what we call elite teams these days? Fuck it. I'm gonna go practice guitar.

I realize the Texans O’line is playing like crap, but Stroud needs to stop forcing things that aren’t there. Take what the defense gives you.
