Oh crap. the_huge is here? Why didnt anyone warn me?

Just kidding.

This is great!

P.S Thx for the link!

No worries :)

You'll find a lot of people here... Abrasion, Todge, Huge, Mo, Stu, TurmericNewton, they're all here. I haven't seen Richie about though... maybe he's just given up on forums altogether, and has gone out to buy more chickens  Haven't seen JBJ either.

Woot, this place is just like home!

Hey EJD, you're in Dorset, go round and find Ritchie and bring him here! I assume there are only so many manure merchants you'll have to try before finding him. Or try an add in the local rag. "Lost, one semi retired musician. Used to be found in the euro thread at HC or in his garden. if found, please send to Mark Wein's site for a small reward"

My son had a westfield LP. They're ok imho but I could never get it set up 'just' right. Probably no better or worse than a budget Epi though. You won't really go wrong with either.

I'd still take your £200 quid SG money and put it into a coffee jar, adding the odd tenner to it till there was £300 in there.

Acadia, do you get Vintage in Germany? I've played a few Vintage guitars which were quite nice, not tried the SGs (might have neck-dive issues like many cheaper SGs) but their prs-alikes were pretty good. Really well priced as well!

Wilkinson hardware is usually pretty good quality.

I'm sure he'll make his own way

My mate has a Westfield LP and I love it. Really easy to play. I only heard it through a cheap amp, so can't really comment on the pickups, although they sounded fine at the time.

I always thought "man, if I ever do get one of these Westfield Gibson-styles, I am soo dropping two BG Buckers into it". Instant classic rock right there.

Hey duuuudes.

Im totally in my studio. Just found out I have 6 weeks until graduation deadlines.

I thought I had 10

Tell me to fuck off and do some work

Yeah, I'd second the Vintage...very impressive for the money.

I'd go for a Vintage over a Westfield too. Like Tom says I suspect the hardware would be better quality. It's the sort of difference you'd only notice after a year or so, I had to change the pots on my son's Westfield. Not really a 'problem' but irritating nonetheless.

ABRASION:

Fuck off and do some work. :embarrassed:

Thanks for the tips! Greatly appreciated.

I read a post from Richie a couple of days in the HC Euro thread about how if he was still working as a software engineer and had released something like HC 2.0 he would have been instantly fired.

He wasnt impressed, but who is?

Im sure he mentioned something about posting somewhere elae but im fairly sure that 'somewhere else' wasnt here.

Should i go grab him form HC?

I do like to hear about his chickens and stuff. Plus he does actually give out some good advice. Sometimes.

I say go for it... but don't try and "grab him" per se, just say that pretty much everyone else is here, and that there's another Euro thread here, if he wants to join us. He's a good bloke :thu:

Get Calum and Monson while you're at it..might as well get all the cunts in one go. :embarrassed:

Morning guys, Tea and Egg 'n' Bacon are on the way.

I need Jet black nobs for my guitar, looks a bit bare. I also found out i need a nice Log volume pot and a new bridge/body either one really given that the hole is just too big.

I just Pm'd him. I told him that Mo has been crying himself to sleep at night and has even threatened to do himself in if he doesnt join us.
