They called me at work at 80...

Overnite a lung infection flared into sepsis, which has completely shut her kidneys down and has affected her breathing...she has been prepped for dialysis...they are hoping they won't have to put her back on the ventilator...

She is semi-comatose, able to hear me and open her eyes and nod a little bit...she's too weak to even grip my hand...breathing is very labored...

The doctors are hopeful...and I really hate that word...
