Give me something to watch on Netflix

I enjoyed the miniseries "Squid Game" on Netflix. It is a bit of Korean style survival horror, but it is actually an interesting premise and it was an entertaining watch. I guess it was a little slow in some places, but the overall experience was still good.

I binged the first 3 episodes and am enjoying it. The overall look of the show is beautiful and dark.

Definitely slows down and belabors a point from time to time but the show as a whole is really good.

Sometimes the overdubbed dialogue is a bit off, but in an enjoyable nostalgic way.

No One Gets Out Alive is a seriously well executed creep house flick. At least the visuals.

Edit: Seriously weird and dark turn in the second act.

Freaky good shit.

I made the mistake of getting my nine year old daughter into an anime called Demon Slayer because it is enormously popular in Japan so I thought it would be good. I wish I hadn’t because now I have to watch it with her. The protagonist talks to himself constantly. In some episodes at least third of the dialogue is just going on in the guy’s head. Apparently show, don’t tell is not a thing in Japan. I have thirteen more episodes of this shit to wade through.

Without watching, I can imagine and hear exactly what you’re describing. Ugh

I just finished it.
It was pretty good.

I just started the first episode of Oat Studio. So far it is pretty good dystopian scifi

EIT: It is apparently sort of like a collection of unrelated shorts.

What's a good follow-up to Squid Game? I really enjoyed the look and the story. The gore and ultra violence not so much but if they serve a good story then it's cool.
