Give me something to watch on Netflix

Anyone seen Blood Red Sky? A German aeroplane hijack cum vampire movie.

a weird combination, but it works with some great acting.
Watching it right now and came in to mention it. I was giddy when she turned watching the hijackers have to deal with a vampire. Good shit trotz cliche hijackers.

Mrs Motorik and I watched a good film this evening called Cowboys (2020). Not sure if it is on Netflix, I think Hulu has it?

Anyway, we really enjoyed it and recommend it highly

Watched a bit of "12 Ounce Mouse" on HBO. The writers and whoever signed them up must have been really, really high.

I'm always down for Steve Zahn flick. I like that dude.

Watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Wow, I have a new least favorite Tarantino flick. The most exciting part of the first three quarters is waiting around for when he'll blatantly shove another pair of feet in your face and wondering just how ugly and/or dirty they'll be next time.

I also thought One Upon a Time in Hollywood was boring. It did not feel like a Tarantino flick. It felt like a flick that went on for way too fucking long. If it hadn’t had Tarantino’s name attached I would have turned it off after five minutes. Deathproof was more fun—the dialogue was certainly better.

Although Leo did great in his role, all that shit about Rick's dwindling star allure could have been summed up in 5 minutes of screen time. Somewhere along that whole pilot shoot I started realizing they just had him acting for the hell of it. It was like half an hour of not much other than showing off his range.

I totally understand why people don't enjoy Once upon a Time in Hollywood (to the extent that I usually don't bother to recommend it), but I loved it. It's like a film that was bespoke made for me. Well, not the dirty feet, but all the rest of it.

I need to watch it again. QT recently put out a novelization of the movie, which he wrote. The audio version is read by Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The ending was too zany for me. And yes, he made Bruce Lee look bad. I liked that scene though.
I'm not sure if it tops Django Unchained. I put it ahead of The Hateful Eight.

Yeah, The Hateful Eight is the worst thing he’s ever done by a long shot, IMO. As impressive as it is.

Same. I thought The Hateful Eight was great. I rewatched it recently (the extended 'mini-series' version) and whilst it suffers a bit from you knowing the twists it's still a great watch. I also thoroughly enjoyed Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I like me some long ass Tarantino.

If you ever wanted to see Neegan and Captain America on the same team in a silly but fun Special Operations revenge movie then The Losers is your chance!
I watched it last night. It was fun. Ending was silly.
