Give me something to watch on Netflix

October Faction is hot garbage. Watch it if you hate yourself.

The worst writing, characters, actors, plot, etc. I've seen on netflix. And this is coming from someone who ashamedly watched the entire V Wars train wreck.
I warned you. Even used the term "hot garbage" my damned self. Serves you right if you didn't listen.

Altered Carbon season 2 is at least coming on the 27th. Not the greatest, but I didn't hate it.

Wife and I just finished The Witcher. Total trainwreck. FFS! The dialog being a bizarre mix old timey English and modern colloquialisms is a complete mess. Probably my most favorable exposure to Henry Cavill, witch ain't saying much as he was a terrible Superman and his character in the last Mission Impossible film was among the douchiest in film history.

I'm generally not a fan of the genre, so that factors in pretty heavily, but this show blows goats.
We gave it a serious try--three or four episodes. But it's just fucking awful! I tried to read the first book it was based on, and it sucked too.

Trudging through Locke and Key. Honestly, if we weren't at a dry spell of things to watch, I'd probably quit watching. The acting (other than the little boy) is horrible. The adults are all idiots. The plot is rather dicey.

It isn't horrible. But it isn't great, either.

Agreed on all points. I'm not familiar with the comic series so I can't comment on the adaptation but I did eventually quit watching.

Hmmm. Should I admit that I really enjoyed Locke and Key? I guess not.
I watched The Poughkeepsie Tapes on Prime last night. That movie is fucked up.

We finished rewatching Breaking Bad tonight.

We did the first 3 or 4 series of Better Call Saul but kept falling away from it, is it worth getting back into?
If you look at it as a separate story based around Breaking Bad hell yes. If you expect another breaking bad, then you won't get it. The cast is great though throughout and I really like the story, especially after season two they sort of found their own direction.

I onow, we got quite a bit on bit it felt really slow at times, season 1 was probably my fave tbh.

I like the Narcos shows and just started season 2 of Narcos Mexico. And on Prime, I started Hunters.

I watched the first episode and it's so watered down and family-friendlyized from the graphic novel -- which I loved -- that I'm not sure I'm going to continue.

Is Schitts Creek all that? I keep reading great things about it.

It does have Chris Eliot so I suppose it's got something going.

Not on Netflix (it's HBO) but The Outsider is very compelling so far (4 episodes in) despite the very deliberate pacing. The tension builds very slowly but it's getting pretty damned thick now.

It's worth a watch. Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara are awesome. The rest of the cast is decent. Chris Elliot does what he does well, but I find that a little Chris Elliot goes a long way.

The show is funny, but overall feels a bit "forced". It lacks any sort of organic feel.
