Give me something to watch on Netflix

Spoiler alert:

The second season of Fastest Car is turning out to be the worst advertisement for McLaren's launch system ever.

We Have Always Lived in the Castle (adapted from the Shirley Jackson novel) has been on Netflix for about a week. I was expecting it in theaters, but it showed up without much fanfare.

The I-Land. It's pretty good so far. Limited series with like 7 or 8 40 minute episodes. I'm at episode 4 and digging it. Give it a chance. It's not Lost I promise. Although it starts out subtly poking jabs at it.

The new season of The Kominski Method is up. Good stuff!

If you have Amazon, watch Mr Selfridge.

Does anyone know when Netflix is going to get season 4 of Better Call Saul? They normally get new seasons a year after they air on the original network. That was Aug 2018 in this case.

It's the first of the month. These are all great additions today:

Sling Blade
Rosemary's Baby
The Cincinatti Kid
Like Water for Chocolate
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Logan's Run
Lolita (1962)
Cleopatra Jones
Enter the Dragon
Ocean's Eleven (1960)
Mutiny on the Bounty
Rebel without a Cause
Superfly
Sparkle (1976)
Gigi
Forbidden Planet (1956)

Oh my god, Schitt's Creek. Why did no one tell me?
I forget about it until I see it in my list and then I start watching it again. Absolutely hilarious. I'm only in season 2 because I keep forgetting about it.

I love Logans Run. Need to watch that again.

It took me a long time to get into it because I found Chris Elliott to be super-annoying. But I got over it, and I’m glad I did. It’s a very likeable sitcom.
Chris has traditionally been a hard sell over the years for me too. He's got a dark angle to everything and I'm usually drawn to that but with him it's often tough to get on board.

Daniel Levy is the one who's killing me. And of course Catherine O'Hara is a goddamn treasure.

BCS was shooting the fourth season a couple of months ago at least. Should be in post production.

Agreed all around.

I thought Chris Elliot’s first sitcom after his years writing and appearing on Letterman, Get A Life, was comedy genius. His mom was played by “Betty” from Father Knows Best.

Yeah, the early Letterman appearances are where I first became aware of him. I enjoyed him in that context but I'm not familiar with Get a Life.
