Gay musicians I admire

I thought posting regularly on an online guitarist forum was kind of a clue about not having a life and being on a lonely road. Next time (or the first time) I need to know what "everyone" thinks I'll be sure and ask you.

Jump higher next time. Maybe you’ll get it.

Don't mess with the mods, man.

let it go. you're wearing your point on your sleeve and repeating it like a homeless person.

And at this point is looks like you're just trying to be provocative and create a problem that isn't there.

I belabored a point you didn’t want to get. I’m glad that message was finally received. Have a nice day.

Have you met people?
I’m not sure what that means, but it seems weird to me to say hear are the gay musicians I like. I wouldn’t introduce two of my friends and say “this is Cindy, she’s a lesbian.”

When someone tells one of our female wieghtlifters “they are strong for a girl” they lose their shit, and rightly so. They are just strong period.

I’m very serious when I say I can’t keep track of this shit anymore. These rules are far too complicated for me to understand apparently. So I will continue to to treat people as I would like to be treated, and not sub divide people into groups of gay, black, or whatever else.

Freddie Mercury, micheal Stipe were amazingly talented and awesome musicians. The fact that they were gay has nothing to do with their talent. That was my only point.

That's because you don't see race . . . or sexual orientation. I see race. I have many black friends and many gay friends.

And it's "here" not "hear"

Thanks for keeping the thread alive! :houra:

See, you have met people

And in 2018, that's where people should be. But that's not always been the case, and it's why both of them coming out were big deals in their times.

I honestly think this thread was ill advised and lacking in forethought. If the intent was to appear thoughtful, intellectual, progressive, inclusive... Or anything remotely related to any of those things, it failed miserably.

Politics and social values aside, the "qualifier" is painfully inappropriate and well... Stupid.

At best, it was staring down a slippery slope while wearing Teflon shoes and saying "Hold my beer!"

Come on man.

Really.
