Dig it! CHOOSE PEEN SIMMONS’ NEXT GUITAR

I almost had a “classic Peen Simmons” impulse guitar purchase moment with this thing...

Lowball offer. Countered with a reasonable assumption that I pay for shipping. Allowed me to rethink the ridiculousness of duplicating everything I already own while not really buying me anything new. But ASH BODY HARDTAIL STRAT. I know.

I always start out wanting X sort of thing and then getting all “the entire world is possible” and I wind up with a hollowbody archtop (which I dig) when strat shopping or almost buying a 2 HB bolt on rock machine when I’m in the market for an electric 12. PERVERSITY.

That is really beautiful. And utterly redundant when you have a G & L tele-type and a strat.

I looked at that one :embarrassed:

I considered a couple other Heritages here and there, but ultimately I went with something that mostly split the difference on my various wants and needs (i.e., both jangle and grind, durability, no intonation gremlins). No trem, but I’ve got a strat and my tremming is infrequent and the strat can do that job.

Jangle, grind, and a hardtail.
