Cargo shorts

i'm only posting now to see if we can get to 6 pages about cargo shorts and related (or unrelated) fashion/trendiness.

Tipperay myself, and Wales, and Scotland, though I can't tell you cities off hand. Bergen in Norway I can tell you though. Mom has a crest with what is supposedly a family tartan at home. From the isles, not Norway.

a very close family friend did a family tree search as a birthday present for my dad when he turned 40 (i think). the family crest has 3 'maltese' type crosses along the top and a walking lion in the center. i have the blazer and crest in my closet. (crappy cell phone pic)

i guess i should explain. the above crest is NOT from the scottish side. they came here in 1925.
the Welsh side (the crest) came here in 1771.

100 degrees? Jeans. I hate shorts. All of them.
Especially those ridiculously stupid looking ones Bob posted. You wouldn't catch me dead in those. They look like baggy boxer briefs.
Going to work? Colored jeans, grey or black. Nice, comfortable jeans.

you have pointy knees don't you, is that why you hate short pants? why not just wear jeans swimming too?
 
Six or maybe 7 pages on cargo shorts. God I love this place.

Today, I'm wearing a Land's End polo shirt, Wrangler jeans, Rockport penny loafers, and a Michael Kors watch. I can get away with anything down here as no one knows anything about fashion, including me :grin:
