Plus one million. This was on netflix or amazon at one point. I started it while cleaning up in the TV room and had to run upstairs for something. I got distracted and came back down about 30 mins later. My kids were having a dance party, clapping for the band, running all over the room. They loved it too.

True story, I narrowly missed seeing Thijs van Leer live about 6 years ago.
Myself and my best friend went to Tilburg, Netherlands to see Transatlantic playing there. They were doing 2 dates there, we were going to the 2nd one.
First night they had Thijs on stage doing both Hocus Pocus and Sylvia as an encore, but not on the night we were there. If only...
We did get a 3 and a half hour prog concert the next night though. Including Neal Morse's Mac crashing right before the final song. Seriously.
For anyone thinking of going, the 013 in Tilburg is a fantastic venue. Lovely city as well.

Depeche Mode had the dubious honor of following this that night as headliner. They fell completely flat. The sunset provides a perfect backdrop.
Someone unnamed followed this obviously since he tells them to enjoy the rest of the evening. I'd be horrified.

Placebo is one of those bands I listen to a lot but never hear anyone mention outside of the internet. Love the tone, the production and every live clip I've seen of them has been nothing short of pristine.

I'm 95% sure it was DM that night. I remember the MTV Vjay covering the event talking it up after DM's set how he was so excited to see Depeche Mode and then a band he never had on his radar like Placebo comes and blows them out of the water.
Edit: found this, 2006. Placebo played many years there though, so you must be thinking of another year.

I've been a fan of Placebo since Without You I'm Nothing. I heard "Pure Morning" on a local college rock cable video station that only lasted for about a month.
