Cake was probably the most fun I've had at a show. They were awesome.
Band of Horses were pretty good.
Buzzcocks, Circle Jerks, Descendents was awesome.
I’ve seen a lot of bands over the years. These are all bands I’d like to catch but haven’t had the opportunity. Congrats.

This show was Big Sandy as a featured vocalist for about six tunes. Over the years I’ve seen him with the Fly-Rite Boys at least 10 times and he is always amazing

Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison have long passed away and won’t be coming to a town near you. But, Chris Isaak may be coming your direction. He played Colorado Springs last night. At 68 years of age, he can still hit those falsetto, high notes.

I just bought tickets to Experience Hendrix for this Sunday, Oct 6 at Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs. I got great seats.
Let us know how it goes. I thought seriously about going to that show when it comes here, but I've buying concert tickets this year like a drunken lottery winner and I needed to reel it in.

Ages ago, I saw Birdwell play drums and do some vocals when Carissa's Wierd opened for a multi-act show a friends band also played. He was without a doubt the standout in that band. Later I saw Band of Horses open a different show and it was pretty neat to realize that was the same dude.

Experience Hendrix - Sunday - 10 - 6
Pikes Peak Center - Colorado Springs

I was a little bit worried because I checked out some recent clips online and they sounded weak and flat to me. But the live sound in person was excellent. Pikes Peak Center has been designed with sound reinforcement, so it’s a great venue for live music.

No Eric Johnson last night. "Kingfish, " Zack Wylde, Dweezil Zappa, Chris Layton, Taj Mahal, Noah Hunt, Chuck Campbell, Calvin Cooke, Mato Nanji, Dylan Triplett, Kevin McCormick, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Henri Brown.

All the vocals sounded great. Even Taj Mahal at 82 years old had great tone to his voice. This was his last show of the tour.

I missed Glenn Hughes and Grahm Bonett. I will see Yngwie's 40th anniversary tour.
311 is playing also. Does anyone else look at the clock at 3:11 and start singing a jiberrish version of Down?

Pablo Cruise is coming to town too.
