Man, I enjoyed the heck out of that show. They are playing and singing close to flawlessly these days. Nels was scary good as usual.

I cannot even describe what a hot shot blues mofo guitar player that is Marcus King. His band is all that that & more to include a horn section. My suggestion is to get out there & see him immediately. Marcus King is our new generation of blues to carry on the tradition.

Saw Boz Skaggs a few weeks back. Started out sluggish, then caught fire with Somebody Lend Me A Dime. Fun to hear Lowdown and Lido Shuffle. Willie Weeks on bass was quite a treat.

Then Tommy Castro and the Painkillers and Tinsley Ellis. Great show.

Saw Hot Tuna on Monday which was kind of low-key.

Mulling seeing Black Sabbitch, all-female Sabb tribute.

Then Masters of the Telecaster with G. E. Smith and Jim Weider.
