I know that song. That's the one where in the second verse they sing about how she can suck a basketball through 50' of garden hose.
 
Richard Thompson just announced a Santa Fe date for February so I'll be snatching up a pair of tickets in the presale tomorrow.

The only show I know I'll be going to is SHEL when they hit the Springs (no date yet, but they play here every year). I took my wife last year and she was blown away. My in-laws bought us tickets for the Broadway series that plays in the Springs this year (Cinderella, Sound of Music, Evita, Les Miserables) so we get to see all four of those shows (already been to two of them). Not concerts by any stretch of the imagination, but still very high quality performances.

Aside from that.....the discretionary cash spending is really limited until we are out of debt. Which hopefully will be by the end of 2019. Maybe sooner if I can get a new job this year. Though if anything 'must see' falls into our laps I will likely splurge.

Would love to see Muse live at least once, but I am sour on their new album. and I am sure they’ll be playing most of it on this tour.
 
Just scored tix for Junior Brown! I'm stoked, never seen him live. :)

It's at the same funky place in Gruene, TX where I saw Los Lobos a few months ago. And only $20! Well $50 for the two of us, with the usual "service charge" etc. Still a bargain.

And it's only a week and a half off!

Going to crank some "Highway Patrol" and stuff tonight to celebrate.
 
I've got The Magpie Salute coming up this coming Sunday...taking mom to see Cher Feb 4th...the got Maiden tix for August

I'm a long time Crowes fan, so am super excited. Saw them open for Gov't Mule over this past summer, they were great and didn't get nearly enough time to play. Looking forward to an evening of them headlining, and also have meet-n-greet tickets for pre-show :).
