2018 Concert Thread

Dropkick Murphy's with Agnostic Front - March 10th
Judas Priest - March 18th (maybe)
Agent Orange - March 22 - my birthday with one of my all time favorite bands
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - March 24 - hopefully. that is a lot of shows in a month
I'd hit every one of those shows.

Los Lobos again ( i think this will be 5x, David Hidalgo was injured last year)

Masters of the Telecaster with GE Smith, Jim Weider, forget the third guy this year, last year it was Tom Principato.

Possibly Uli Jon Roth again (that will be 6x), Robin Trower (6 or 7X), Here Come the Mummies, The Ventures.

So far, Burton Cummings and his band. The Spoons opened for him.

Tommy Emmanuel.

Reverend Horton Heat, Unknown Hinson, and those Russian balalaika blues guys..

The Bare Naked Ladies..... shut up. I got seasons seats for a series that was not yet signed and they’re the first act signed up.

Tedeschi Trucks Band, Drive By Truckers, and Marcus King Band. Second to sign on to the series. Yay!

There are around 12 dates in the series. Works out to about $26.50 per person per show.
With reserved seats, the only thing you have to battle is the weather. It’s an outdoor venue.

I did Bonnaroo one year just to say I did it. It was fun and all but I wouldn't do it again.

Only thing of interest to me is Muse. Keep the rest.

Do you have Showbiz? Your post just reminded me that a close friend of mine borrowed that CD from me and never returned it. I believe is was their first full length album. Great album, I don't think their recent stuff matches up.

eyehategod tomorrow (I'm too much of an old person to go on a Weds night... :/)
wolves in the throne room and enslaved Feb 23
earthless Mar 24 and 25
acid mothers temple Apr 14

I like the hard rock edge of Drones, but yeah -their earlier stuff is more adventurous. My problem is that I discovered them about 15 years too late, but would still like to see them live.

Wanted to go down to Santiago, Chile, with my boy, and go waterskiing, and see Pearl Jam at a festival down there. Couldn't pull that off due to schedule. So, still looking.

I’ll go see Sleep or Electric Wizard since they’ll probably be touring to support new albums. If Ozzy ends up touring the USA this year I’ll go see that, but it looks like he’s touring abroad this year.
