I know you hate it but THIS IS THE WEIN NFL THREAD...'25-'26

Back in ancient times, we used to time shift games when we couldn’t watch live, by recording them on VCR tape. Then, TIVO took over the time shifted recording of TV programming.

I used to have a Dell mini tower PC hooked to my living room, big screen TV. I had a digital broadcast tuner-card installed with a video output of 1080i which the TV would convert to 1080p. And, I had software that operated similar to a VCR which would record in High Definition. I used that setup to record games that were on digital broadcast TV when I could not watch live.

Currently, I have a digital tuner box in my basement that has the ability to record digital broadcast TV on an SD card. It’s wired to a 1080p front projector with 120” screen. But, I’ve never used it to record anything.

When we had Sling TV it had a DVR setup included for recording. We got rid of Sling because we only used it for sports which became a bit expensive for what we watched.

Now, when I’m unable to watch a live NFL game, I use YouTube. I go to the NFL channel on YT and watch their edited video summaries of the significant plays of a game. Even when I’ve watched a game live, I’ll often watch those NFL videos on YT days later.

TAKING THE BROWNS TO THE SCOOPER BOWL, AMIRITE?!?

Still better than living in Wisconsin.
That was Joe 'take no flak' Flacco against Jordan Love.
I went lookin' for love in all the wrong places instead of watching that 13 to 10 Browns crapper.
Heart shaped pee clump.

I spent a week at a Wisconsin cabin one sumner when I was 11. It was a blast. We swam in the lake, fished from a row boat, ate berries, hiked, saw deer. I was impressed with the state.

Watched the second half this morning after seeing a hundred posts on the game on Facebook. Still enjoyed it, would recommend. Congratulations to the Bears for beating a team with a quarterback that wanted a concussion. Congratulations to the Packers for avoiding another tie in overtime.

Aside from the helmet to helmet hit, it was an incredible game. Booker was playing some Cap'n Crunch out there. I believe Love has to sit out next week's game due to his concussion.

Browns Shedeur Sanders looked good against the Bills, right up until someone tried to rip his pinky off. I hope Sanders is able to return.

Minshew also tore his acl a few plays into the game.

Only negative from today is that the Titans probably crossed Nagy off their head coach list. Meaning we have to figure out some other way to shit can him without Andy Reid noticing.

What? No love for Swaggy Nagy and Club Dub in KCMO?

The Jaguars beat my Broncos like a redheaded stepchild. Trevor Lawrence picked apart the highly ranked Denver defense and made it look easy. The Jaguars defense had Bo Nix off balance in the second half.

If the Broncos can come back and win their last two games, this loss to the Jaguars will not change their playoff position at all. I expect Denver will be able to defeat the beat up Chiefs. However, the Chargers have already beaten the Broncos once. That will be a tough game.

And the Chicago Bears have clinched a playoff berth.

I heard that @bsman died of quantum fart syndrome.
His Packers are still in the last wildcard position. All they have to do is win their last two games and they clinch that wildcard. Of course, that means defeating the Ravens and Vikings. Not easy.

Sunday Bears didn't play, I tried watching the Lions Steelers game but, couldn't. Of course I wanted the Lions to loose, thus the Bears clinch a playoff birth but, didn't want to watch Rodgers to have a good day. Was hoping Steelers would only score by their defense getting pick sixes but, that didn't happen so, I turned it off.
