They will he back with Mahomes throwing the ball. Maybe not next season. He's one of the greatest.
He is absolutely one of the greatest. The Chiefs were one of the greatest. They will probably still be a good team again. However, the odds of Mahomes coming back and reclaiming his former glory with the Chiefs at that same level are very unlikely.

Easy to say now. Will he get to 4 more Superbowls? Idk. I'll take it one year at a time. He's still pretty young at 30. We'll see how the Cheifs re-load.

Dammit I turned TNF off after the 3rd quarter thinking it was gonna be a blow out. Great game. And that backwards pass for the two point conversion earlier in the game was bizarre.

Da Bears have a tough 3 games to finish out the regular season.
Packers
Niners
Lions

It's definitely the moment of truth time.

And yet the Pack have only appeared in two more Super Bowls than the Bears in that time period.

Also, the Bears have had zero Hall of Fame quarterbacks embroiled in a massive welfare fraud scandal.

So it seems like the Bears-Packers series is not a great metric for football success. But maybe it is an indicator that your team’s QB is a massive douchebag. The Bears have had way more starting QBs since 1992 than the Pack and none of them have been as hateable at Favre and Rodgers. Not even Smokin’ Jay Cutler sucks as bad as those guys.

At least we don’t have to play the Browns twice this year. Did you see what they did to the Packers earlier in the season?

The refs were correct that it was a backward pass, which was treated the same as a fumble, in this case. However, we clearly heard a whistle blown before the Seahawks picked up the ball. So, the correct call should have been a do over. The refs blew the whistle too soon.

Bottom line, the Seahawks earned the OT becasue their defense fought hard to keep the Rams in check during the 4th quarter, holding the Rams at 30. Meanwhile, their offense mounted a historic comeback for the franchise.

The Rams scored a TD first in OT and then kicked a field goal. The Seahawks scored a TD on their drive and made a gutsy call to go for the win with another 2 point conversion.

We’ve got 3 days of NFL in a row coming up. The games start tomorrow, Saturday, 12-20, going through Sunday, and MNF.

Unfortunately, the Bears play on a stupid day to play football, at a stupid time to play football. Followed by the next day, yet another Sunday without the Bears playing.

Saturday football should only be for college. NFL's #1 thing is more $$. More games = more $$.
I understand the sentiment. However, I appreciate how many games are available on broadcast TV for free.

By contrast, where I live, if I want to watch the Denver Nuggets play basketball on TV, very few of their games are available on broadcast TV for free. And, people wonder why basketball has declined in popularity. I think it’s a combination of the change in game play toward more 3 point shots, which is less exciting, and the fact that you have to pay to watch your team on TV most of the time. The sports plans to watch the basketball games I want to watch are expensive IMO.
