Just watched this and I think I would never have realised it was him without this post. Would have probably thought it was a vaguely familiar character actor. He shared scenes with Bob and Leo and held his own. Pretty incredible for a first timer!

I didn't know he got the role through actual auditioning either until this article. Always wondered why Martin would risk putting him in a movie of this proportion just because he liked him or whatever, but no he actually auditioned multiple times for roles. Go figure.
