Dwight Yoakam was on the ball in When Trumpets Fade as well. Ice cool and very credible performance.
Chris Isaak earns cool points for being one of the swat guys in Silence of the Lambs. He had like one line, I think, and I didn't even notice it was him the first time I saw it.
Dwight Yoakam was really good in Panic Room too as a horrible, horrible man.
Oh my God yes, that's like Waingro's equally disturbed twin.
Could you be smoking so much pot that you think he's Jason Statum?Guys… we seemingly have fallen off the track….Phil is the only option by shear number of roles. He obviously has the talent which is why he repeatedly offered roles![]()
I have no idea who that is

That's Vladimir Putin.
This is pretty much my list except Will Smith. Screw that guy.Wow.... not even in my top 10.
I'd have to really think to sort them into some kind of order.... but off the top of my head, musicians who became actors:
Steven Van Zandt - You forgot how fucking good he was on the Sopranos, didn't you?
Bette Midler
Mandy Patinkin
Jennifer Hudson
Mandy Moore
Harry Connick Jr.
Lady Gaga
And I would even put Justin Timberlake, Will Smith AND Marky-Mark Walburg on that list before Phil Collins.
