This Flat-Earther Is Going To Launch Himself In A Homemade Rocket On Saturday

Why doesn't he just buy a sailboat and go that route? Find the edge, you know.
Ask one sometime. I never will again, what a waste of time.

Me "Why isn't google image search littered with photos of the edge of the earth? Youtube?"

Flat Earther"Something something conspiracy, .... truth not allowed to come to light.... There are photos....I've seen some photos.....blah blah...NASA...MIB...."

I read another article on this guy. He had his other rocket launch and holds the longest jump in a limo. It said he started a kickstarter to raise $150k for this launch and he only got $310. So he went on some flat-earther web show and said he converted to being a flat-earther after months of research and then the show's host told his listeners to donate cash so he could build a rocket to prove the earth is flat and now he has the cash to build the rocket. So the guy is obviously a nutjob but maybe the flatearther part is a con to get the cash to build his rockets.

Because, if you believe the world is flat, you will believe anything.

Did anyone watch the video of his last launch? Dude's damned lucky to be alive. The parachute was half shredded by the rocket before it fully deployed. That was a hard landing. I'm really surprised the rest of the chute stayed together enough to slow him down before he augered in.

One parachute? One?

For his sake, I hope he has developed a better parachute system with multiple chutes. If he gets the thrust he's hoping for, that last system won't last two seconds.

What a maroon!

He's going to die.

Someone should secretly replace all of the lenses on the onboard cameras the night before the launch with fish-eye lenses...
