What dish have you been wanting for awhile?

A good full on Irish breakfast would hit the spot right now.

Why? You realise the full Scottish or full English is vastly superior?

I mean, soda bread? Really? Or White pudding? Get a grip.

The true path to breakfast enlightenment is the Scottish or English way.

Haggis FTW

I had "English breakfast" when I was in South Africa (or so they told us). It seemed a lot like USian breakfast, except the bacon was all disorganized (still tasty though).

mmm...Scottish breakfast

I've actually wanted a good fettucine alfredo. Pretty much anything pasta right now... craving has been getting really bad lately. :(
I feel your pain. I have gone low carb and that has pretty much wiped out my pasta and rice orgies. I am contemplating making a Bolognese sauce and meatballs with a homeopathic amount of pasta (half cup dry measure) and some kind of veggie.

My latest craving is for some good oatmeal. I was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 months ago, and have to watch what I eat. Instant doesn't cut it, it has too much sugar in it and other junk. I've been using the stuff from Bob's Red Mill because it's plain. Very tasty if made to the directions and reasonably quick. I usually add butter & maple syrup. Upgrade ideas? And no, calling Wilford Brimley isn't an option.

This, over pasta, with salad, and bread to use to sponge up the sauce.
