Now that ZW has been mentioned...still think this album (and song) is the best thing he's ever done.
Such a good player when he can be arsed. Sadly the BLS stuff does absolutely nothing for me.

 
Some guy named Nick Johnson on youtube. Had a song called Ignore Alien Orders that caught my attention. I'm on my second album now.

Love Ozzy-era Sabbath. One of the few metal bands that had a truly great rhythm section, and not in an athletic kinda way.

That said, Tribute is a good listen, though I rarely ever touch it.

I sometimes put on Tribute just to enjoy what a special player Randy was.

And yeah, Butler/Ward did something no metal rhythm section has done since - certainly not today's beat detectived and quantized ones.
 


while this is an interesting song....under the current circumstances.....has a completely different meaning.
