Shenanigans. Music either hits you or it doesn't. And just because something is "supposed to" check all the boxes doesn't mean it does. I listen to a lot of complex music. Technical ability and mugging for the audience just don't do it for me.

Yes. Of course you know I agree with you on that. I told him so in somewhat colorful terms. We are long time friends and we can do that. I also told him I was glad I didn't spend the money to troop all the way down to SLC with him to see JB down there a summer or two ago.

If he tuned down a little this would be stoner rock. He’s just riffing through huge amps and playing a bluesy lead. Not that I dislike stoner rock, but he sounds like about five hundred garage bands selling exclusively through Bandcamp. Joe isn’t as special as he pretends to be.

His work with the Allmans was stellar, nothing boring about it.

I like quite a bit of TTB, though I can understand how slide can get boring for some people.

Is this boring? IMHO it isn't, and it's 100x better than the BCC clip VTF posted.
