WTF: The Third Installement Of The Thread About Nothing

Good evening. I sold a bunch of stuff on ebay today. I'm still awaiting payment for the SG. Hopefully I'll get that soon. I have much more to sell. I'll be putting more guitars on the block this week.

Monika, you prolly buy and sell more guitars/year than most mom & pop music stores!

That Heritage semi- is really about the nicest guitar we've seen around here lately. I think that one'll be the keeper!

With a few exceptions, I want to pare down my guitar collection to my Heritages and my home built guitars. That Heritage semi is slightly larger than a 339 so it's nice and compact. With the BGs in there I get some great sounds. The neck is a little on the chunky side too. It's quickly becoming a favorite. I liked the Frailins that came with it. But I can sell those for more than the BGs.

Ah, the perfect father's day present!

What is with people? I listed the koa Carvin for $700 + shipping and PP fees. A guy contacts me and says he wants it. It's relatively close by so shipping comes to $27. He comes back with a lowball offer of $650 shipped. No. I'm not putting up with that BS. The guitar is worth $800. I gave him a counter offer of $700 shipped + PP fees. That's as low as I'm going on this one.

Tired tonight. I signed up for a jobs program today through a social service agency. They get a pretty wide variety of leads. I have nothing to lose. And I could use the coaching.

In other news, the SG is sold. I'm shipping it tomorrow. I may decide to keep the koa Carvin. After getting pissed off about not selling it today I sat down and played it for a while. It's nicer than any SG that I've played.

I went to the bar to watch the Hawks game tonight. I left at the end of the 2nd period because of a headache. It didn't help that the Hawks were losing.

Hawks were completely owned tonight. i'm not liking the trend. They lose Wednesday, and I'm afraid it's over.

My boss emailed us with the new schedule. After 3 1/2 years, I finally get to go to day shift next Monday! chewie0 :bacon:

Ah, the simple pleasures. To be human again instead of a mushroom. To no longer fear the sunlight and sleep in the darkness of night. To eat on a regular schedule. Escaping the never ending tiredness and drag caused by minimal rest. Ahhhh, I can't wait...

I just ordered one of the Classic Player Thinline Teles with Wide Range humbuckers that was listed in the Great Deals thread. I've wanted one of those for a long, long time. And I regret selling my 69 RI Thinline.

Cute baby, Dman. How's the family doing?

I just listed a bunch of guitars for sale in the spam thread.

we are doing great Mon, busy as all get out, but good. i haven't touched a guitar in months :(

Really? That IS sad. You've got to make a little time now and then to unwind!!!! (spoken by someone with eight years between kids -- I realize your situation is substantially different!)
