The Official Pragestock 2011 Thread!

Well the last two have gone. Poor Dave is stuck on an airplane in Knoxville. Something is going on in Atlanta, he has been circling Atlanta forever and they finally had to reroute to Knoxville to refuel and then try to head back to Atlanta. Looks like he will miss his flight. Don't know when he is going to make it home. Haven't heard from MicWalt yet, but I know he made his flight, we got him there with plenty of time to spare.

It was really sad to see everyone go. Thanks for coming out everybody, it was a lot of fun again.

I'm home.
Typing this on the iPad my wife just bought.
Going to sleep now.
Will give full report tomorrow.
Awesome time!

Man...I really wish I had been there ..one day....I'll happily play bass all weekend to give Dave a break

I'm home. 3:30 in the AM again. My flight to Atlanta was scheduled to arrive almost three hours before my connecting flight to Denver left. It arrived 30 minutes AFTER the flight's scheduled departure time.

Luckily THAt flight was delayed almost two hours. Dang I'm tired. More tomorrow....late today actually.

Pragestock is like sensory overload. You just cant absorb all that happens. You're sitting there watching some guys play, then you catch something cool coming out of some acoustic jam, then you get a whiff of food from the kitchen, and when you go into the kitchen to get something to eat, you hear laughing from outside, so you go out there, then the band switches over and kicks off into something so you go back in to hear, but while you are walking through the kitchen, you pick up a beer and maybe a hotdog, then head into the jam room, but not before petting the dogs, then you set your beer down and lose it for awhile, so you have to go back into the kitchen, but not before you peek outside to see whats happening, then you get another hotdog and go back in the jam room, but you realize that you forgot to get a beer, so you go back in, then back to the jam room and sit down, only to find the beer that you lost in the first place. Rinse and repeat.

What I got from this epic post, was "beer".

Replace "hotdog" with "hotwing" and it's basically a perfect description of Pragestock. :baimun:

What a weekend.

Thanks again to everybody that was able and willing to come to our house and make a bunch of noise for a few days. Hosting this thing is really easy since the folks that show up are all so cool.

I mean, I think the house was CLEANER on Monday than it was on Friday.

Next year, I expect both Jaxn and mystix to stay until Sunday. One night just isn't enough to get the full force of the experience.

I'm assuming everybody liked the downstairs setup more than the upstairs setup? I thought it kicked ass, and maybe by next year, I'll have put a new blower motor on the downstairs AC, so we can keep it cooler.

Glad everybody made it home safely, even though it does seem like lots of people were plagued with travel problems this year.

Anyway, you are welcome at our home any time...not just for Pragestock.

Now I guess we need to start planning Pragestock 4.0. :embarrassed:

How easy / much of a p.i.t.a. is getting from NYC to your place?

P.S. I bet if I brought deep fried haggis and told you it was something else you would all love it :embarrassed:

Man, what a great time!!!
Before I pore through the last several pages of this thread to check out all the pics/vids, let me just say what a fantastic time it was. Mr. and Mrs. P are the bestest hosts ever. In fact, Mrs. P is a saint to put up with the pack of us commandeering her home for the weekend.
It was such a blast jamming, talking shop, and just hanging out with everyone. I mean, everybody was just so cool. I only wish Mystix and Jaxn could've stayed for the Saturday jam. Speaking of Mystix, thanks once again for the drum software, man--that was totally above and beyond!
Also, I gotta say how blown away I was by telecaster911. Not only does he know every song ever written, but he tore up the fretboard song after song--just outstanding playing.
Anywho, time to get back to real life, and I think I'll be swearing off pork products for a few weeks.
BTW, MONKEY FUCKING WRENCH!!!!

Tele is one heckuva guitar player, thats for sure.

These videos confirm - I love micwalt.

Seriously, the guy's a freak, and there's pretty much nothing that guy can't do. Kickass singer, guitar player, drummer.

Mike, in a way I hate you.

edit: I expect the guys from Pragestock to chime and confirm this.

Why the fuck Mike Walter isn't a world known guitar player/singer is fucking beyond me. :embarrassed:

edit edit : I'm fucking serious. :rawk:

There aren't words to describe how really good micwalt is. You have to see it to believe it, seriously. I'm pretty sure that I've never seen, at least up close, someone alternate pick like that...and in absolute perfect sync. Crazy good...yet as nice a guy as you'll meet. Not to mention the vocals and the drumming.

You guys are making me blush.
