Seriously, the guy's a freak, and there's pretty much nothing that guy can't do. Kickass singer, guitar player, drummer.

edit: I expect the guys from Pragestock to chime and confirm this.

Why the fuck Mike Walter isn't a world known guitar player/singer is fucking beyond me. :embarrassed:

I've edited the posts to include a description of who is playing in the videos. I'm doing this quickly, while editing other videos, so I may have some things wrong, but I'm trying. :embarrassed:

There aren't words to describe how really good micwalt is. You have to see it to believe it, seriously. I'm pretty sure that I've never seen, at least up close, someone alternate pick like that...and in absolute perfect sync. Crazy good...yet as nice a guy as you'll meet. Not to mention the vocals and the drumming.

Myz was a monster as well...and don't forget Jaxn.

yeah... no doubt... one more cool thing was trading licks and soloing tips. i showed micwalt and jaxn some sweep tap stuff and jaxn showed me some blues lead lines and micwalt reminded me the importance of being able to pick every note and not just play legato leads. that being said, my playing already improved since i came back. when i played today, i felt more fluid and connected with how i approached my lead playing. pretty cool stuff...

Got in a while ago.... the tire thing probably ended up setting me back almost two hours because I didn't have enough space between the blown out tire and the fast lane of the highway (passenger side rear tire, but I was pulled off to the left when it blew at speed) so they had to put the truck on a flatbed to get it off the highway and then put the spare on.


Had a blast hanging out and performing with everyone (despite my upper range being shot to hell.) Lookiing forward to next year already and have already started writing a few more parody songs. :grin: Once my throat heals I'll record some.

thanks man, it was a blast hanging out with you. Hope you make it the entire weekend next year. Peace bro !!! It was really cool having just the Forum guys there for the most part. We had a few floaters Saturday night, but they we're good pickers and it went well. Anyway, what about those reverend Guitars? WOW, I have to have one now. They are amazing !!!
 
Lino gets partial credit for the Parody version of "When the Children Cry" that I'm working on.... If he hadn't said how much he hated the song, I probably wouldn't have started learning the chords for it and subsequently adlib the NSFW lyrics. :grin:
