I know it's early, but there is NOBODY on the Flyers team I wouldn't trade (for the right price) except for maybe Wayne Simmonds and our rookies.
We're not going to be good for another 2 to 3 years, but we have a TON of young talent coming up.
We just need to make space by shedding these horrible salaries.
BTW, if you go back to the other thread from before the season started, I was right on the money.
Our defense sucks, and until it stops sucking, the team is going to be mediocre.
Maybe we can shed some deadbeats in the expansion draft. Guess we'll see.
Good news is that Sam Morin made his NHL debut the other night.
Mark my words, the kid is going to be a force in the NHL. (6'7", 220 lbs, only 21 years old and plays with a chip on his shoulder.) He's going to be a cornerstone defenseman, something which we haven't had since Pronger retired.
