Glad to see Nashville move on. Right now I believe they are the best team in the playoffs. No idea why the hate unless you never watch them and simply don't like the fact that Nashville has a team in the NHL. No worse than LA having a team IMO.
What's to like about Nashville
1. They play a fast and physical game, I think they ended up with 7 or 8 odd man rushes to 0 in the last game.
2. They have a great d core Josi and PK are both very dynamic game changing players (and MTL is probably having a lot of second thoughts these days, I personally thought it was a stupid trade).
3. Pekka Rinne is a world class goalie, and in a similar vein as Brodeur a great puck handler which can fuel their offense.
4. The fans are super, great energy and enthusiasm from that building. Must be a great place to be the home team.
Oilers/Nashville would be a great series, if the Oil can pull it off. They came though big time last game but really this series should have been over in 5, they had leads in the 4 and 5th games and lost both. Now they go into a toss up game 7. The advantage they have is the Ducks have, recently, choked in game 7's. Neither goalie played well in the last game so I suspect they will stick with Gibson and look for him to have a bounce back game. The Oilers need to get to him early to take the crowd out of it and but the game 7 doubt into the Ducks.
