Summer Concerts on tap. What you got?

Let's see... we've got South Bend's 150th Anniversary, three shows on or near Diamond Island, Kamm Island beer fest, a couple Blue Chip Casino gigs and....

.... oh, to go see?

I got nothin'. Too busy this summer. :helper:

Just saw clutch and Mastodon are playing Friday night at a casino about an hour away..... It's GA So if tickets are still available before the show and I'm in the mood, I might go.

I have to drag the Mrs. out and catch a gig...when you guys playing Blue Chip?

Tonight was Farin Urlaub Racing Team for me, one hell of a show from my favorite German artist. Probably the best concert I've ever seen as far as energy.

Also living proof that a girl band (backing a man in this case) can fuggin RAWWK! His drummer Rachel was very impressive, Nessie the rhythm guitarist was great as well and soloed a couple of times.

I can't say enough of how good this show was.

Of course I'm probably the only one here that even knows who they are. Oh well, your loss.

Update: If you've ever seen this advertisement and wondered if the Model can actually play the drums, I can Attest to it.

Went ahead and grabbed a single for Beck at Ntelos Charlottesville this Wednesday. Gonna meet some old friends coming outta Waynesboro. Should be a great time!

Just got tickets for Blue Rodeo at Safari Niagara Amphitheatre.

A local band that has been getting a lot of attention, The Mandevilles, is opening for them.

Kinda modern country, I guess, but not really. Sort of. Maybe. I don't know.

0:56...that's definitely falling into the modern "country" lyrically...no use for that

Lydia Loveless is closer to real country, in the vein of pissed off Johnny Cash...but different.

I saw Ghost of the Sabertooth Tiger is opening for Beck some this summer. If they are in C'Ville, get there to see them. They are way better live than on their CDs. Much more guitar and just plain rocking. I really liked them last year when I saw them with Beck.

This, exactly. Caught em a few years back opening for The Flaming Lips and came to the same conclusion. They were great the other night as well. Mr. Lennon knows his way around the fretboard for sure.
