And why is it called "stealing signals"? It is observing signals. From what I understand it was watching replays on the watches from the replay booth. Sounds to me like they just had a good idea first.

You're not allowed to relate that information back to the dugout. The game is to be played without outside information. There's nothing that says you can't use what you learned today, tomorrow though.
 
They tried it, they got accused of it, they admitted it. Now they will be punished.

So people can't call the dugout on that plain old phone either?

Stealing signs is legal. Using technology to transmit and disseminate that info isn't. How fucking hard is that to understand. BoSox admitted they did it.

If the Yanks used a camera to steal signs, then they are fucking guilty too.

Stop deflecting. Insinuating that I am angry is passive aggressive bullshit. I am merely annoyed by people who either don't understand the rules, or actively argue that the rules weren't broken. You don't seem to understand the rules.

Just don't come complaining that your batter got knocked back on his ass by a fastball under his chin after someone on his team was caught stealing signs. Catcher will inform him "we got signs for that too"
 
I am saying that I don't give a F about the rules. It is stupid shit. If it wasn't stupid shit then no team would ever try to gain an advantage by using intelligence, they wouldn't watch film and they wouldn't scout other teams. It is all bullshit.

Annoyed is pretty close to angry.

The tribe is on a roll, that's for sure. (I don't care either way about jinxing them)
It's the AL, so any records should have an asterisk * anyways.:wink:

 
It was an amazing run at 22 wins and unreal score ratio during the run as well as innings trailed/innings led and so on. I wouldn't want to meet them in the playoffs.
