trump relents on border wall. another campaign promise busted.

does he have actual positions and beliefs or does he just do whatever people tell him? i mean in this instance he made the right decision but it was another major broken campaign promise along with many other things he was already done a 180 on. china was a currency manipulator and they will handle NK. well i talked to them for 10 minutes and they are not a currency manipulator and things are much more complicated than you could have guessed. same with nato. his current position is based on who he talked to last because his previous position was so stupid it could not have been based on any fact or rational thinking.

Mr. Toughguy Airline Employee is damn lucky that dude didn't rearrange his anatomy. Of course the passenger that stood up to that douchebag would have been arrested and charged with a Federal Crime, he was still willing to do the right thing in order to defend that woman from those gutless thugs. He put his freedom on the line to help a stranger while the airline people were assaulting and victimizing a woman over a motherfucking baby stroller.

And yes, this all comes back on W. and the horrendous Patriot act that gave God-like powers to inept, untrained, unqualified, and uninformed people who have NO business possessing such powers.

I'm confused. My link is about the Florida republican who resigned after using a racial slur. This article is showing he also had a Hooters girl and a Playboy model on his political payroll as "consultants."

Ted Cruz says we can build Trump’s wall by seizing $14 billion in drug cartel assets. It’s $7 billion short of the DHS cost estimate (which is probably based on lowball bids from contractors and suppliers who jack up rates later). And the government hasn’t proven that El Chapo’s even has assets, so this could be like Meyer Lansky, who got old and died without the feds ever finding his supposed assets. So of course the far right are in love with the idea.
 
so i got a trump survey questionare in the mail today. don't know why i got one, i'm a registered dem. it came from the rnc.
but it's got questions about whether i support (on a scale of 1-10) pretty much all the campaign promises. and then some other questions about support for his policies.

i don't know whether i should fill it out and mail it in or just throw it away. it's addressed to me and has a registration number on it.
if i fill it out and it's all negative (which is the only way i'd fill it out), will i be getting visits from the fbi or ?

if i do fill it out and send it in, they'll just throw it in the trash. they DO NOT accept negative anything.

any ideas?

Posted this vid by Mojo Nixon and the Toadliquors in a thread about songs related to reptiles and got to thinking, when I bought this album, while in law school, all this assault on personal freedom stuff and drug testing, etc. was brand new. I loved this song, as a civil libertarian. Now, if you want a job, you hardly think twice about having to be drug tested. Look how far we have come since the late 80's. *sigh*
