I don't even think that's it. I legitimately think he has reading comprehension issues as well emotional instabilities that remind me of my six-year-old son.

If that was to actually happen I would quit my job, drive to Chicago and get physical. I don't want to be violent, I don't want to hurt anyone, but applying martial law to an American city as a way of subjugating the population is straight from the playbook of every totalitarian movement that has ever existed, and I WILL NOT let that go unanswered in my lifetime.

The site helps scientists fund their political campaigns. They're not going to fund someone they don't support. That beings said, a person's political affiliation does not necessarily jive with their scientific stance. I know independents and Republicans who do support science. The PAC can do what they want, but they shouldn't just limit themselves to Democrats, so long as other candidates serve their purposes.
