That's the town where I live. Assholes, assholes, as far as the eye can see.

What got me most about this incident, though, is the dude dressed in the Trump mask and trucker hat ... and the full-on Gene Simmons spiked armor.

One of the most surreal things I've seen in some time.

The county I'm working at is seeing historic turnout; one woman has worked at this precinct for decades and has never seen numbers this high. I'm working at a rural office, so you can connect those dots.

So far we've had several Trump supporters make overt references to him in earshot of other voters and a few even have tried wearing in shirts and hats after being told hey couldn't.

School me please or correct me if I'm wrong..

If it's the electoral college that determines the outcome, why have a general elelection??

Is it overly complicated? Why don't people vote and whom ever gets the most votes wins??

The music building was just evacuated for some unknown reason and this was on the wall when we got out here:

This has been my question since I was old enough to vote.

Thanks Very informative in a short blurb..

I may be wrong but it seems outdated and unnecessary..

I'll scale it down...100 people live in the USA.....the candidate to get over 50 votes wins...
Well, not all 100 people vote, for one thing...

The EC was a compromise made 250 years ago that has outlived its purpose, but the interested powers would rather play a game they know.

Understood..

But if only 80 people of the 100 hundred voted then the one with more than 40 votes wins....

Voted 6:30 this morning before work. Took 2-3 minutes. Entire back page of the ballot was no choice. You could either vote for the republican running or not. No Democrats running. There were two judges running for retention. I voted no, assuming they were probably republicans.
