One day I had the misfortune to walk through Times Square with a stroller. They were in full body paint, wearing only panties. They definitely had a mixed reaction from tourists. Lots of men looking and women glaring. But they knew what they were doing when they took their act to a polling place.

A little before noon, local time, on Tuesday, Judge Gloria J. Sturman denied the request, after a hearing.

At the hearing, she expressed significant, repeated skepticism of almost every aspect of the lawsuit—from the campaign’s standing to bring the lawsuit in the first place to the question of whether other relevant parties like the secretary of state had appropriate notice to the remedy the campaign was seeking.

“You’ve failed to exhaust [your] administrative remedies,” she said, noting that the Trump campaign should have first asked the secretary of state to address the campaign’s concerns.

Sturman also expressed significant concern about whether an order in the Trump campaign’s favor would lead to poll workers being harassed — after what she has seen from “trolls” on Twitter.

“I am not going to expose people doing their civic duty to help people vote … to public attention, ridicule, and harassment,” she said. “I’m not going to do it.”
 
just saw a stat on one of our local tv station web sites. our county voter turn out in 2008 was 80%. and 78% in 2012.
i have NO DOUBT it will be way up this time.
(we're doing our part here in NW Ohio)
 
Today I went to the local Indian grocery store. The owner told me he and his wife are afraid this will go bad for them no matter who wins. Twice this year white men have started shouting profanity at him on the street for no reason. His wife wants him to close before dark and go home for the next couple weeks.

An Indian friend of mine relayed a similar story regarding the Bangladeshi owners of his local bodega here in NYC. With shit like the below pic going around, it's no wonder people are afraid.
