I can't wait for this shit to end. My phone rang every ten minutes all day long today. I finally just unplugged the fucking thing as I got tired of the robocalls.

I have been getting political texts for the ballot questions here.

So far the phone has been pretty good. Not that I answer it anyway.

So, Drumpf getting more and more desperate, again calling the election rigged and basically accusing the FBI (and Hillary) of lying.

Face it Drumpf, you put your eggs on the email basket and it backfired on you.

if there are no parties.....then the money will follow the best ideas.

That's an optimistic view. I don't see that happening though. If there were no parties, that would make it easier for candidates to get more money. As it is now, you have to pick a side and once you do, you agree to the platform or your out. For example, you don't see big pharma giving money to Democrats because they want health care costs to come down and you don't see pro choice groups giving money to Republicans because they are pro life. Get rid of the parties and now you have politicians choosing their stances based on the biggest pay day instead of the party line. I don't know if that is more or less dangerous. The best thing to do is get rid of the money all together. Much like health care, government shouldn't be a for profit business.

This is how to make America great again, right?

I think the Trump slogan is really K0d3 for

I wish, but money follows power and power follows money.

not that it's ever going to happen in this country....but i am all for a NO party system. everyone stands on their own merit and ideals. no platforms.....no party bosses.....no good ol' boys......individuals with a vision.
I despise the Dem/Rep/Lib parties.
I'd love to see no left or right.
Only UP or DOWN... FORWARD or BACKWARD.

Realistically, I have to still vote for specific candidates that are members of a party to enact a RELATIVE upward direction.

that is completely untrue. there are plenty of big corps giving to both sides.

"High profile donors that give to both sides include Comcast, Wal-Mart, Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Coca-Cola, AFLAC and Verizon. The majority of these corporations donate about the same amount of money to both sides with five corporations giving exactly 50%: Novartis Corp, Kolhberg & Co, KKR & Co, Jacobs Entertainment Inc. and Intuit Inc."

Unfortunately, I am starting to view this more as him positioning himself for his talk show or cable channel move, and that he will use his cult of personality to make money for himself, and to be a figurehead for that portion of the population that drinks this kool-aid and will want impeachment efforts, investigations, etc., as it all must be rigged. With the latest round of allegations/speculations, hard to say how the vote will turn out. And the GOP will have to decide whether to continue to continue this pattern, or to try to find a more serious approach. So far, with all the GOP'ers that were anti-trump, but decided to vote for him anyway (Ryan, etc.) it looks like they will just double down. But, having said that, it will be a thing to think about after election day and we see what happens. It sure would be nice if the Dems regain the Senate at least.

I'd like to see that to but for as long as governments have existed, people have been buying influence. It's always been for profit.

It isn't just about companies, its donors. The Koch brothers head up Freedom Partners. Between 2011-2014 they had given $323,936,500 to politicians. I bet there are close to 0 democrats that got a dime of that. How much of the Koch brothers American Encore $169,148,666 have gone to democrats? What about $64,200,000 from Crossroads GPS? You think they gave heavily to Barrack Obama's re-election campaign? The companies you referenced are just a tiny drop in the political spending bucket.

I'd rather see up down up down left right left right a b b a

comey should be fired. these types of stunts have no business at the fbi.

regarding trump, I work with liars all the time. you can always tell when someone is lying because they constantly say "trust me" or "believe me" many times over and over again without offering any evidence supporting why you should trust them. that is all trump is doing. he hopes the white uneducated male vote is enough to win.

he says he will fix the inner city. trust me. how though? stop and frisk? how do you "fix" the inner city exactly?

he lies and says jobs are down, growth is stagnant. did anyone see the recent jobs numbers?

so.....Rush Limbaugh 2.0
