I get the impression that they were sharing a computer / phone / email account for some reason.

As for Comey, he needs to stay until January or February. Then he can resign quietly when all the high-level appointments are happening. He’s a douche and he fucked up royally, but kicking him to the curb just before the holidays won’t work out well for anybody.

Then again, when you fuck up so bad that Alberto Gonzalez publicly craps on you, maybe a quick resignation is the way to go.

supposedly it's a shared/family laptop & he was the primary user but it's alleged that she had used it in the past for email so it's probably just the data in her email client on that laptop.

edit: some articles and pundits are speculating about why it wasn't previously searched or she didn't turn it over as part of the earlier investigation. I can tell you that my wife used one of my laptops a couple times last year when her's was on the fritz...there's no way she would remember that or consider it material if she was in a similar situation.

650K emails wouldn't be just him and it wouldn't be just a couple of times by her. and she was on the sec-states staff, so she was supposed to be maintaining info retention, etc.

It is at once so sad and pathetic as well as ENRAGING that so many people buy into the notion of the Clintons as criminals with absolutely no proof.

The idea that facts are bad or that everything is a cover up. Are there that many conspiracy theorists out there or are they all just people that want to badly displace dems and any distorted notion they have of "liberals" that they need to willing buy into a ridiculous lie.

In turn it makes rational people sound like conspiracy theorists when so many are pointing out that:
- the media isn't out to get you and control you,
- the political system has and can still work effectively if all of the different players work together,
- the election isn't and won't be rigged,
- the President was born in America,
- he's NOT Muslim (but it would actually be okay if he were),
- the rest of the world isn't out to get us,
- voting Republican if you are in or below the "middle class" socioeconomic strata is voting against your interests,
- white people and there existence AREN'T being threatened,
- there IS a separation of church and state is a part of the U. S. Constitution,
- etc.

Supposedly the above is just part of all stuff the "lamestream" wants us to think!

Enragingly pathetic is what I'll call it.

There's conflicting reports on how many of her emails are on the laptop and the exact time frame as to if it was when she was on staff or later as a consultant. We'll know more when the FBI releases more details since they haven't examined it in depth minus a warrant previously.

well then, comey was WAY off base making that announcement. they don't even know what the hell is there. he should have absolutely waited until they had some handle on the hard drive before running off at the mouth.
