Now that we're into a couple weeks of Corvfefe what have you been creating in the kitchen?

Cheddar topped pork chops with french onion gravy and mashed potatoes tonight. A lot more classic than my usual cooking but it was great. Will definitely do the gravy again :thu:

Mince and tatties. Proper old school Scottish gear but that's the first time I've ever made it. Jazzed it up with a mirepoix, bit of red wine etc.. most recipes are literally brown mince, chuck in veg and a bit of stock, simmer, serve.

I really enjoyed it but MrsJ wasn't a fan. Too plain for her.

My plantain trees finally decided to fruit after living her almost 4 years. Got 38 off of this rack and another with over 30 growing already. I'm gonna need help.

Bone in thigh butter chicken and naan bread tonight. Only downside us no beer to accompany it.

Pumpkin bread mix season is upon us. I know I can make it year round, but I deliberately don’t stock up on canned pumpkin so I don’t eat it year round. But for the next ninety days I’m gonna make that shit once a week.
