Now that we're into a couple weeks of Corvfefe what have you been creating in the kitchen?

Today was chicken donner, tabouleh, spiced onions and flat breads. Another one going into the recipe book.

Gotta grill em kinda slow so they don’t burst asunder, spilling their luscious juices into the fire. Discipline is key here.

Trying this tonight:

Got everything chopped and prepped so all I'm doing it tossed stuff in the pan as need be. Everything else of his we've tried has turned out great, even the veg pakora which tbh I messed up quite a bit was still lovely so I'm looking forward to this.

Yeah so that was incredible and so bloody easy. Stand around drinking beer, listening to Oasis and stirring a pan for 40 minutes :embarrassed:

Chinese chicken curry tonight. Tremendous, easy and reduced for 45 minutes so plenty of time to drink beer and listen to tunes while it cooked.

I'm nearing the end of my first really slam dunk lettuce season, so there have been a lot of salads. Hoping to start pea season soon with a risotto.

as muchas I love a campfire steak over an open fire pit or a good mesquite grilled steak I gotta say the cast iron grill pan is fucking amazing. Never even considered one of these but when my bro passed away i inherited a lot of his cookwear and i recently began using this and when it's a dryheat at 105 outside it's nice to stay inside without dry wind, flies, etc. Plus these things just cook meat perfectly.

We're doing steaks tonight. I had a griddle pan like that but it was a nightmare to keep clean so I chucked it. I've got a nice big flat cast iron for steaks now - which we're having tonight

Fired up the grill last night.

Wagyu ribeye (amazing)
Peri peri halloumi (bit undercooked)
Sesame chilli honey chips (a lot of work for the pay off)
