In my cart right now on amazon. I'm pretty sure this will maximize a $299 guitar without breaking the budget. @smurfco just put a set of these pickups in his rosewood tele.

Thanks!

These parts are all upgrades but not "top end" kind of things. I think I can make this a pretty usable guitar without breaking the bank. At some point I would love to have a nicer tele but this will do for now.

I played the rosewood Tele at volume tonight at TPF practice and the pickups sounded great. I think you will like them.

Nice!

That control plate is of interest. Mine tarnished very quickly.
I either need to replace it or tarnish more of it.

The pots would be a nice upgrade though.

I figured it couldn't hurt to swap that part out. My guitar has turned kind of a gross yellow over the years. I'm going to see if I can buff it out and clean it. I've never had another guitar change color like that before.

I'm interested to hear your impressions of that bridge. I have a CIJ Tele Custom that I think would benefit from a bridge upgrade, and the price is right on that thing.

If your haven't already pulled the trigger, there are a few folks on eBay that have wiring harnesses for a Tele with a 4-way switch instead of the 3 and they are a little cheaper than what you are looking at. I just got one with the treble bleed mod for about $30. The control plate isn't included but you already have that. Mine was also reversed, so the volume knob is up front instead of the switch.

I used that same bridge on my MIM tele I had several years ago. It's a nice piece of hardware for the price and pretty easy to intonate. The 6 saddle bridge that came with the guitar had a sympathetic buzzing that was driving me crazy when I played it unplugged.

I'm really liking my CV Tele. I took it to practice last week and it sounded pretty damn good. I'm curious to see how the mods work for you.
