The first one I recognize as downtown Milwaukee. The others I can't place.

Good catch. That was the view from my hotel room this morning. The rest are along the drive from Milwaukee to Duluth, MN.

I did. Went through Eau Claire. That's crazy that you are right there. I have to admit that I never thought much about Wisconsin, but it's a beautiful state. Add in the cheese and beer, and I'm a bonafide Wisconsin fan.

I like Wisconsin a lot too... went there on vacation a couple of times as a kid and it's a pretty place and lots of American comfort food. I swiped some pretty good beer too.

That first trip was also a first for me, because I was 11 years old and was really excited because a band let me sit in and play drums with them. For some reason EVERY time I went on vacation with my grandparents I found a band that invariably would be cool enough to talk to a kid and let him play a song with them in the slow part of the set. I played drums on Mary Jane's Last Dance in a shitty hotel bar and it was so much fun.

Not really artistic, but I like the way this picture from the Austin F1 race turned out. Pretty much as captured with a tilt shift photoshop effect added for fun.

It's weird.... between the angle and the resolution of the pavement, it makes that Indy car look like a Matchbox Toy.

Yeah, that is the effect of the tilt shift filter. It makes things look like toys. Here is the original before the tilt shift effect. I think with the right picture the tilt shift adds some visual interest to an otherwise dull photo. I angled the tilt to match the dry racing line through that corner.
