Let's remember some GJ guys

I suppose now is as good a time as any, but Smokey_McPot was my alt.

Sorry @Theodore, I remember you straight up asked me in PMs a long, long time ago and I denied it. I lied.

Also, tompetty of all people accused me too. I wouldn't normally think he would be perceptive. *spits*.

No recollection. :embarrassed:

Flamencomonk was a nice fellow.

The one I really wish I'd kept in touch with was Monson. We used to play Company of Heroes together online almost every day for a long time. I think I'd have finished my PhD a year earlier if I hadn't played that game. :embarrassed:

Too bad it didn't stress you out like it did me.

Lots of very specific geographical and demographic references... especially about LA. Posted regularly. Nobody? *spits* Know his real name and everything else, just can't remember his original username.

rushomelruffian. I spotted him on Deadspin when they still had comments and I'm almost positive he posts on Stereogum.

I liked him better when he was JackEMartling or Ron Mexico. Ron Mexico was one of the best names ever.

Maybe, but he peaked with Tex Rubenstien. There was nothing funnier than when he went on LR to troll, and was immediately in the LR jail. The jail was the best idea ever. He would hang around and anyone could visit him, but he never got back in to the main site.

Bucky Goldstein. Some of us made jewish cowboy alts to troll there. Fun stuff.
His posts were entertaining, and it always surprised me how seriously some folks took them. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't have to go through all 10+ pages to find someone mentioned him. :thu:

I like Mike. He was always cool to explain some theory. I know this isn't a popular stance here.
I'm right there with you. He may have had his, um, quirks, but he knew his guitar.

Plus, he got to (more or less) live every kids' fantasy of running away and joining the circus. I thought it was pretty sad that so many people felt the need to shit on his burlesque show.
