I don't feel that way about used Gibsons of any era, honestly. Many of them are lovely instruments.

I do have a lot of contempt for dumb fucks who should know better but buy new Epiphones out of spite or something.

I jammed with one of my teachers at school last year and he had a older gibson mandolin. He was incredible and the mandolin sounded great.
