I’m pretty sure that I didn’t buy anything this year.
I know I didn’t sell anything.

I did acquire this pedal from my friend. He gave it to me. He won it in a Facebook draw.

It’s fun. I’m looking forward to building more of the boost modules and swapping them in and out.
It’s got the 24V boost in it now.

Since I already have enough guitars, and no GAS, I only purchased one this year. :(
I found that I needed a small travel guitar, and it was the headless Steinberger GR4 with a weather resistent carbon fiber neck, that I have already shown here:

There is a Marshall DSL100 head, I bought and sold a shit load of pedals, and there may be guitars and amps that I don't remember.

Define 'shit load' because I went through my Reverb account and it wasn't pretty

What is the LP with the Bigsby? You only gave us a tease pic.

How are you finding it? Especially the car on fibre neck? I am actually considering teplacing the wooden neck of my Steinberger Spirit with a carbon fibre neck, but not sure I will like the feel

Probably nowhere close to what you did. 30ish.

Ok. I bought a Chinese knock off for 190 shipped. Came in played great sounded good, epi pickups stock. I wanted to try my hand at making a sick relic with all the stuff I wanted on a Paul. Rio grande bbq bridge pfa neck, real bigsby, aged bone nut, knobs, pointer thingies, talepiece from an explorer, and locking tuners and hours of abuse, made an amazing LP that I’ll keep forever.

Love that paul. 30ish? You are in my ballpark, but still have a ways to go. You've got a few weeks to go

The carbon fibre neck with composite fretboard is surprisingly good, resonant and responsive. Keeps the tuning very good, no matter what weather it is. It is somewhat narrow, which fits my playing style very good.

Thanks :thu:

I was just wondering whether it feels the same as a wooden neck, because I have been told it can feel a bit ‘sterile’ if that makes sense.

People’s talking, but they just dont know. / Chuck Berry

It’s a very good neck. Steinbergers still sounds different, though. It’s not steel and wood, but more... modern, digital, something?

But probably not because of the necks, but they liked active EMGs and the passives were often with ceramic magnets.

Hmmmm. I haven't bought anything this year. Last year I went kind of crazy and was getting all kinds of things. I had a bunch of money burning a hole in my pocket but my wife suggested I should sell my "okay to good" guitars and get one really good one which only semi-appealed. I know it's due to this strat with neck issues due to the former owners improper storage which is slowly getting fixed. I literally took that strat on me on a 3500 mile road trip across US and Canada so there's some sentimental appeal to keeping it around.

I wonder if some of the 'difference' is perception bias?

Nothing. Overspent on my father's day.

Much needed upgrade to the van stereo. Wife said I was done for the year.
Went to Gearfest with gas for the Behringer Model D. Left Gearfest with gas for the Neutron which didn't come out till the end of summer. Thought oh, she will let me slide for Christmas, that's close enough. Yesterday was my birthday, I got a new laptop as my combination birthday Christmas gift.

Only thing I "bought" was the Roli Seaboard, but that was just putting it on my credit card till son paid me back. Bank of Dad loan.
