Yes, I really want an older one. Now the problem is finding one...nice to hear it in person before purchase.

When I was getting divorced, my only acoustic guitar was a wedding present from my ex… I had a couple of friends nice enough to drop me off some guitars to get me through. Ended up buying the guild off of the bay for $600 sight unseen. There is a “crack” in the top from the bridge to the heel. I think it’s just separation maybe in the top. It was like that when I got it and it hasn’t gotten any worse. I’ve played it outside in the humidity and stupid cold by fires, left it in my truck when I shouldn’t have, still sounds and plays great.

If you see one for a good price, I say go for it. If you don’t like it, Wein will probably buy it.
